Jim McKenna lives and writes in rural Illinois.
His published works include short fiction, poetry, travel guides, and essays on Western history and true crime. He's also written over a dozen novels in multiple genres under various pen names (he won't tell us what they are).
Jim performed selections from the works of William Shakespeare on his CD, "A Muse of Fire".
His hobbies include playing guitar (badly), horror movies, stamp collecting, and deep dives into folklore and history.
An avid reader, some of Jim's favorite writers are H.P. Lovecraft, Agatha Christie, Truman Capote, Jack London, Jeff Guinn, Harold Schechter, and Stephen King.
